I began making videos as a way to share some of the hands-on skills I have acquired or am currently learning, and as a medium for exploring my ideas on the value of work, self-reliance, and the connection we build with other people through objects and acts.

Tinker & Think reflects my belief that the cerebral and the manual are equal, and equally necessary for human development and connection. All too often I observe people who emphasize one over the other, or dismiss people and their work if it is unlike their own. I hope this video channel can serve as a platform where people appreciate and develop intellectual and functional skills. I hope these videos encourage and motivate people—myself included—to tinker and think.
