Wild Clay Vase – Small

Wild clay, dug by hand in Idaho. I used this clay straight out of the ground, only sieving out the largest rocks and pine needles with a window screen. Soda-fired to cone 10.

The surface is both glossy and highly textured, the result of using a coarse clay with many natural impurities. Glazed inside to be water-tight.

4″ tall, 5″ across.
